Rushmika is originally from Mauritius, currently a resident of New Brunswick, and is passionate about all things Human Rights. She started out in the field of psychology and was a Human Services Counsellor for a while before getting into teaching and exploring some other options.
She brings that islander vibe with a good understanding of cross-cultural competency. She believes in being kind and assertive. She is keen about learning more and trying to make the world more equitable.
