Olya is a community-based program professional with several years of experience in the nonprofit sector, including work in emergency management and gender-based violence. (GBV) Her work focuses on designing and delivering initiatives that improve access to information, strengthen community connections, and help people navigate systems more easily.
Most recently, Olya worked in the GBV sector, where she led community-driven programming that created low-barrier, relationship-centered spaces for newcomer women. She brings a thoughtful, people-centered approach to her work and values collaboration across sectors.
