About this survey

The Accessibility Confident Employers (ACE) Project provides free training, resources and support to help employers across Atlantic Canada create more accessible and inclusive workplaces.

Through this survey, we want to learn about the barriers experienced by people who are Deaf, neurodivergent, and/or living with a disability when looking for work and participating in the workplace.

Your answers will help us identify gaps and develop better resources and supports for job seekers and employers. Taking part is voluntary and you can stop the survey at any time. Your responses will be kept confidential, and information will only be shared as combined findings in our final report. Any contact information you provide for a follow-up conversation will not be included in the findings.

Sea Change CoLab respects your privacy. Participation in this survey is voluntary.

To help protect the integrity of our survey data, we are asking participants to provide and confirm an email address. Unfortunately, online surveys can receive automated or fraudulent responses from bots. Your email address will be used to help us confirm that survey responses were submitted by real people and to protect the quality and reliability of the information we collect.

Your email address will be kept separate from your survey responses and will not be used to identify your individual answers. Providing your email address does not automatically sign you up to receive ACE Project communications.

We will not sell or share your personal information unless required by law.

Some ACE Project activities are funded by the Government of Canada. When demographic or survey information is used for reporting or evaluation, it will be reported in anonymized and aggregate form, meaning individual participants will not be identified.

Personal information will be collected, stored, and protected in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
