Universal Design for Learning at Work: Designing for Access from the Start

June 17, 2026, 1-3 p.m. AST

Universal Design for Learning is not just for classrooms. It is a powerful framework for designing workplace training, communication, and systems that work for more people from the beginning.

In this session, we introduce the core principles of Universal Design for Learning and apply them to hiring, onboarding, professional development, and internal communications.

Participants will:

  • Learn the three core principles of Universal Design for Learning
  • Identify common barriers in workplace learning and communication
  • Explore practical examples relevant to employers
  • Develop one concrete action to apply in their organization

This session is ideal for HR professionals, learning and development leads, managers, and anyone responsible for training or communications.

Our skill builders are designed to be highly interactive. Each session includes breakout group discussions to encourage knowledge exchange and create space for participants to learn from one another’s experiences and perspectives. Following the session, participants receive a “learn more” document and additional resources, so even if you are unable to attend live, we encourage you to register.
